Formats and limits
Up to 20 files per batch, 20 MiB per file and 40 megapixels per image. JPG cannot preserve transparency; results are checked against the requested output format.

Which formats can I convert between?
JPG, PNG and WebP in any direction. Every result is checked against the format you asked for before a download is offered.
Why does a JPG export ask for a background colour?
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas have to be flattened onto a colour. Choose the colour the image will sit on so the join is invisible.
Does converting to WebP lose quality?
WebP and JPG both re-encode at the quality you pick, while PNG keeps every pixel. Re-encoding is lossy, so keep the original file and convert once.
