How to use this tool
Enter the source text, search term and replacement. Literal matching is the default; enable regular expressions only when needed, then inspect the result.
Private processing
Your input is processed in this browser tab. PixelKit does not upload it to a file-processing server; leaving the page clears the current work.
Formats and limits
Regular expressions run in a local worker with a 2-second time limit; a timed-out worker is terminated. Replacement follows JavaScript replacement syntax; malformed patterns show an error and do not produce partial output.

Frequently asked questions
Does find and replace use literal text by default?
Yes. Regular expression mode is optional, so punctuation is treated as ordinary text unless you enable regex.
What happens if a regular expression takes too long?
Regex runs in a separate local worker. If it exceeds two seconds, PixelKit terminates the worker and shows an error.
Is the text sent to a server?
No. Matching and replacement happen in the current browser tab without a processing server.
